"I just can’t help but find this to be a feminist issue. Cause I don’t think anyone ever asks Bruno Mars how he’s going to avoid taking his clothes off. There’s so many women out there who feel like it empowers them. If it’s coming from a committee of dudes, telling her to and she feels trapped by it- that’s what I wouldn’t approve of. I’m doing what I’m comfortable with and I just hope for the rest of the women in pop music that they’re doing what they’re comfortable with."
